• To form anise-flavored liqueurs and spirits, such as pastis, raki, arak, absinthe and ouzo.

Recommended doses for use

Approximately 2 to 2,5 g / liter (200 to 250 g/100 liters). It’s recommended to make a test in advance for accurate determination of the required quantity.

Directions for use

Anethole is infused into the alcohol or alcoholic spirits directly, stirring constantly. In the event that anethole is crystallized, then is necessary to pre-heat him at water bath.

Recommendations

It is recommended to make a test with a smaller volume of the material for flavoring, such as 1 liter. By consistently increasing the dose of the essence and subsequent tasting, it’s possible to determine the optimum quantity for infusion more accurately. Alcoholic content of beverages should not fall below 47 ÷ 48% vol. to prevent graying of the drink.
